Naval Branch Health Clinic Key West honors Red Cross volunteers

Naval Branch Health Clinic Key West honored American Red Cross volunteers at a recent awards ceremony and cake cutting in honor of National Volunteer Week.

 

Capt. Julie Miavez, Branch Health Clinic Key West Officer in Charge, presented Certificates of Appreciation and clinic T-shirts to 10 American Red Cross student and adult volunteers. A festive cake was provided by volunteer Mac McCausland.

JB Hunt and Lt.Col. (USMC Ret.) Tony Colmenares of the American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys presented volunteers with commemorative Red Cross backpacks and thanked them for their efforts.

The Clinic Volunteer Program, under the direction of Cindy McCausland, is administered in cooperation with the Red Cross.
